Star Trek Online console versions set

Developer Cryptic has the Xbox 360 - set and PS3 versions of Star Trek Online. We wanted to concentrate fully on the PC version.

As revealed, Cryptic has scrapped the planned console version of Star Trek Online. This is already the second Star Trek Online MMO, Cryptic to the console version gives up after last week's already set the Xbox 360 version of Champions Online.

The team at Cryptic boss Jack Emmert will now concentrate fully on the PC version. In an interview with Executive Producer Craig Zinkievich Videogamer.com said that the console version was indeed created and the developers have brought to the consoles already running. However, there were sto credits business concerns.

Apparently for Publisher Atari was the poor performance of the PC version of Star Trek Online, the opportunity to take any further financial risk on consoles. Distribution costs would probably exceed the revenue.
